Suna felt a lump settle in her throat as she looked at the empty spot where her cat used to nap in the sunshine. Shadow, her beloved cat, had passed away last night, and Suna didn't know how to cope with the loss of her furry friend. She stroked the spot where Shadow used to sit and whispered, "I miss you, Shadow. You were the best cat in the world." Suna's parents had tried to console her, but nothing could take away the pain she felt. She loved animals and cared for them deeply, and Shadow was like her best friend. Without him, everything felt empty. Throughout the day, Suna went about her life in a daze, barely paying attention to anything around her.

Her friends at school noticed something was off, and asked her what was wrong. "I lost my cat," Suna replied, tears filling up in her eyes. "He was my best friend." Her friends hugged her, knowing how hard it was to lose a companion. They tried to cheer her up, telling her stories about their own pets and funny things they had done. "I miss him so much," Suna said, wiping away her tears.

The next day, Suna decided she needed to do something to honor Shadow's memory. She came up with an idea to help other animals. She remembered a local animal shelter that needed volunteers, so she decided to check it out. When she arrived, the people at the shelter greeted her with a warm smile, and she immediately felt at home. They showed her around and introduced her to the animals.

Dogs barked, cats meowed, and rabbits cleaned themselves in their cages. Suna knew she wanted to help them all, but she didn't know where to start. The people at the shelter explained that she could help by feeding the animals, cleaning their cages, and giving them love and attention. Suna knew this was her calling. She helped feed the dogs, played with the cats, and cuddled with the rabbits.

She loved seeing their happy faces and wagging tails. One day, Suna met a little boy who was trying to adopt a dog. The dog's name was Lucky, and he was a mixed breed with a shiny black coat and big brown eyes. Suna noticed how much the boy loved the dog, but he didn't have enough money to adopt him. Suna knew what she had to do.

She took her piggy bank out of her backpack and counted her coins. She had enough money to pay for Lucky's adoption fee. "Here, take this," Suna said, handing the money to the boy. "Adopt Lucky, and give him a forever home." The boy was surprised and grateful. He hugged Suna and promised to take good care of Lucky.

Suna knew that Shadow would be proud of her. She had found a way to turn her grief into something positive, by helping other animals and making a difference in their lives. From that day on, Suna became a regular volunteer at the animal shelter. She made new friends, both human and animal, and felt a sense of purpose and joy in her heart. And although she still missed Shadow, she knew that he would always be with her, in her memories and in her love for all animals.
